Currie Flats will help expand Calgary’s supply of attainable rental housing, strengthening neighbourhood vibrancy and livability through transit-oriented, community-connected design.

Led by Fergal in his former role, Currie Flats was acquired from Canada Lands Corporation in 2023 to deliver a six-storey wood-frame residential building with 77 purpose-built rental units. Located steps from Mount Royal University, Marda Loop, and a major BRT corridor, the project focuses on smaller, more accessible units designed to meet demand for attainable rental housing in a high-amenity urban community. CMHC MLI Select financing is being advanced to support long-term affordability and sustainability.

Larkspur Projects is located in Calgary, on the ancestral and traditional territory of the Blackfoot Confederacy — the Niitsitapi peoples, including the Siksika, Kainai, Piikani, and Amskapi Piikani.
