Impact

The QP District redefined Doha’s skyline, creating a world-class business and hospitality destination that reflects innovation, cultural sophistication, and global collaboration — positioning Qatar as a premier hub for commerce and investment in the Middle East.

Fergal, in his former role, led the day-to-day project management of the QP District (formerly Barwa Financial District) in Doha, Qatar — a landmark $3.2 billion development comprising nine high-rise office towers, a 409-key luxury business hotel, and a central energy plant. Situated in Doha’s prestigious West Bay business district, the 7-hectare site includes more than 7.6 million square feet of space and integrates commercial, retail, and hospitality uses. Fergal oversaw a multi-disciplinary project team of 50 professionals, guiding complex design and procurement processes, managing major change orders, and integrating extensive stakeholder requirements. His leadership helped transform the speculative financial district into a tailor-made corporate headquarters through strategic redesign, procurement, and execution oversight.

Calgary, AB, T2R 1J5

Larkspur Projects is located in Calgary, on the ancestral and traditional territory of the Blackfoot Confederacy — the Niitsitapi peoples, including the Siksika, Kainai, Piikani, and Amskapi Piikani. We also acknowledge the shared lands of the Tsuut’ina (Dene) and the Îyârhe Nakoda (Stoney) Nations — Bearspaw, Chiniki, and Goodstoney. This is also the homeland of the Otipemisiwak Métis Government, including Métis Nation Battle River Territory, Districts 5 and 6.

The place we now call Calgary has long been known as Moh’kins’tsis by the Blackfoot, Guts’ists’i by the Tsuut’ina, and Wîchîspa by the Îyârhe Nakoda. We recognize, honour, and give thanks to the original caretakers of this land, and commit ourselves to building respectful relationships with the peoples whose histories, languages, and cultures continue to shape this place.
