Expanding access to housing, healthcare, and employment in Calgary’s university district, UXBorough is creating a connected, people-centred urban community.
Fergal, in his former role, led a major redesign of Uxborough — a multi-phase, mixed-use development of approximately 800,000 sq. ft. that includes residential housing, medical office space, hotel and a pedestrian bridge connecting directly to the Calgary Cancer Centre. His leadership strengthened the project’s efficiency, constructability, and long-term financial performance, while improving how the site integrates with surrounding health and research institutions. The work also shaped the development’s phasing and delivery strategy to support sustained, community-oriented growth.
